Willie, Sarah and Doggies, Bald Eagles are fairly common here in Ferndale/Billingham, WA Your Eagles look so much like ours , they are probably cousins. Our climate in Whatcom County can be similar to yours, but our Cascade Range of mountains is 30 miles to the East, so with Bellingham Bay to the West, ours may be more moderate. We have a saying here, "If you don't like the weather, wait five minutes" I am happy your feeling better, Willie, sorry you missed the Castle event. You need to down a bit more of your fine Scotch or possibly some of Sarah's cordials, eh? Cheers, Rik Spector

Get yourself a tripod. They aren’t expensive and should mean that lovely long L lens gets used to its best.

I am NOT criticizing! This is info for the readers who are interested in wearing good outdoor layers. Cotton really is the worst layer. Especially against your skin. It does not breathe well and does not wick at all. Just becomes a big soggy mess that takes ages to dry. Use wool. Or a good quality synthetic. Or a wool and synthetic. Feel great against skin and wick very well. Cotton should never be worn. I have backcountry telemark skied in Alaska and Canada as well as bikepacking, hiking, etc. Just my opinion -fair but most experts agree. However choose what you can afford and work your way up. It can be expensive! However generally very well done and excellent practical and proven advice! Be well!

how 'bout an merino wool base layer? Very comfortable and wicks the moisture away from your skin! (in contrast with a cotton t-shirt).

I dont understand this trend of constant choppy editing every few seconds - Are people not capable of speaking normally ? or are viewers SO distracted that youtubers have to cut their speech every few seconds to allow a constant uninterrupted stream of words to not even breath? Its very unnatural :/
